Haymaking

KO Rural specialises in conventional hay baling throughout the Franklin District, with a particular focus on small and awkward paddocks that other operators often pass on. Mowing, raking, and baling are all handled on-site.

How it works

There are two ways to work with KO Rural for haymaking - choose what suits your situation.

Option 1 - KO Rural bales your paddock

You provide the grass, KO Rural does the work. Mowing, raking, and baling your paddock - bales handed over to you.

Option 2 - KO Rural buys your grass

KO Rural comes to your paddock, makes the bales and takes them away. You'll receive the going market rate per bale. You don't have to do a thing. The best option if you have grass to spare and want to earn from it.

Paddocks we come to

Based in Patumahoe and baling right across the Franklin District - Pukekohe West, Puni, Mauku, Buckland, Paerata, Glenbrook, Waiuku, Waiau Pa, Clarks Beach, Karaka, Kingseat, Aka Aka and Otaua. Small blocks and tight, awkward paddocks are welcome - they're the ones bigger contractors tend to turn down. If you're nearby and not on the list, ring and ask.
